WELCOME TO THE WELLINGTON
WELCOME FEBRUARY!
This is the month that Cupid shines, so you might want to keep an eye out to see if he has that love arrow aimed at you. The Groundhog, however, who is well-known for predicting when spring makes its entrance, has the first say of the month on February 2nd. Presidents Day, February 20th, once a day for honoring George Washington and Abraham Lincoln whose birthdays are both in February, is now a day to recognize and honor all our U.S. presidents. Now, back to Cupid, who rules on February 14th; we wish all our sweethearts at The Wellington a very Happy Valentines Day.
FEBRUARY NOTES AND REMINDERS
You Are Great: February is resident appreciation month at The Wellington, and we truly due appreciate each of one. Thank you for choosing our community as your home.
Sweet Events: (1) Join your friends and neighbors at our Valentine's Day Party on February 14th at 6:00 p.m. It will be a fun time for all as we enjoy light snacks and beverages plus great conversation. (2) You don't need money at all as it's a Trade Day. Bring items that you don't want anymore and swap them for something someone else wants to part with on February 16th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Any items left after 1:00 p.m. will be donated to Goodwill. (3) Our celebration for February Birthdays will be on February 24th at 3:00 p.m. We will be entertained by someone very talented and special who is back by popular demand.
Reminders: (1) There will be no mail delivery on Presidents Day, Monday February 20th. (2) Mark your calendar to attend the Residents Meeting on February 6th at 9:30 a.m. We value your suggestions and ideas. (3) If you enjoy our movies, you definitely will want to check out what's showing month.
